ST. COUSAIR WINERY & Restaurant

Nestled in the Iizuna Valley, the winery is famous for its wines and signature jams it also produces. Enjoy the restaurant or delicatessen while sipping on Nagano wine. There are workshops throughout the season and wine tours as well.

Based near the next mountain to Myoko, Mt.Kurohime, dining at Terla is a chance to treat your tastebuds. Exquisite Italian food, homemade pasta, as well as a woodfire oven that uses wood from the nearby area.

Togakushi Soba

Next to the timeless Togakushi Shrine, is its local famous delicacy of Togakushi Soba, or buckwheat noodles. There’s a Soba museum as well. Soba is famous in the area, and around the Shrine a multiple shops to try this wonderful dish a try. Often paired with tempura, it’s a wonderful for lunch or dinner.

Arakin Ramen

A short 5-minute drive towards Ikenotaira, Arakin serves home-style dishes including ramen, curry, fried rice and asparagus-mushroom-butter saute. Also their grandma’s original-recipe pickles handed down generation to generation.

Bakery Cafe

The bakery inside the Akakura Kanko Hotel operates year round, views from the terrace café overlook the Myoko Valley and Lake Nojiri. Feel free to relax at the café or dine in with a full service lunch menu at Aqua Grill.

Ikenotaira Beer Hall

Located next to Ikenotaira ski resort, the Myoko Kogen Beer Hall offers an all you can eat buffet, to go with the optional all you can drink Myoko Craft Beers. Myoko has been brewing beer in the area since 1998.
